What are the Library Hours?
Both the Rose City Branch and the Skidway Lake Branch of the Ogemaw District Library System are open Monday- Thursday 10am-5pm.  On Friday, 10am-2pm.  Ogemaw East Branch is currently closed.

Do you make copies?
Yes, we make both Black and White and Color Photos.
Regular size paper - $0.25 per page up to 10, 10 or more $.20 (plus $2.50)

• Both sides - $0.40 per page up to 10, 10 or more $0.30 per page (plus $4.00)

Legal size paper - $0.30 per page

• Both sides - $0.45 per page up to 10, 10 or more $0.35 per page

• Non-Profit organizations - $0.20 per page

• Tax forms - $0.15 per page

• Homework - $0.15 per page

Color copies

• A color photo on letter size paper printed in draft is $0.50 per page, Higher quality color printing is $1.50 per sheet

• Color photos on photo paper is $1.50 with own paper
  
   

Can the Library send and receive Faxes?
Yes, the library can send and receive Faxes.
Patrons may send and receive faxes for a fee.  Faxes will be placed by the library staff only.  The fees are as follows:

              There is no charge for the cover sheet unless it is the only item being faxed

• $1.00 for the first page

• $0.50 per page after
   

What is Libby?
Libby is an online program that allows you to borrow books, Audio books and magazines. This program is free with you Ogemaw District Library Card.

 

How do I sign up for Libby
Once you have an Ogemaw District Library Card, you need to download the app from your favorite app download site like google play store.  Once you download the app, you need to sign into White Pines Cooperative and then click Ogemaw District Library.  There will be a box input your card number.  Once you establish your account with Ogemaw District Library you can add several different libraries to borrow from.  A complete list is available at your local branch library.  If you have difficulty, please feel free to stop in one of the branches for help.
 

What is Kanopy?
Kanopy is a sister site for Libby, but unlike Libby, Kanopy allows you to download movies.  Each month you get 25 tickets to use for movie downloads.  Each movie has a specific number of tickets you have to use.  All Kids movies are free!

Once you have an Ogemaw District Library Card, you need to download the app from your favorite app download site like google play store.  Then follow the prompts.
 

Does the Library have a Newsletter?
The Ogemaw District Library emails out our Newsletter about 4 times a year.  More newsletters are sent out as needed.  Emails are sent out to all of our library card members who have included their email address.
 

Does the Library have programs or workshops for adults?
The Ogemaw District Library offers programs at all our branches though out the year. Follow our Facebook pages or newsletter for current programs.

Follow our Facebook pages or newsletter for current programs.  In July of each year each brand will offer our Summer Reading Program.  Skidway Lake Library is on Tuesday, Rose City Branch is on Wednesday and Ogemaw East Branch is on Thursday.
